Totem.mobi a réussi à lever plus de 650.000 euros pour développer son offre de véhicules électriques en auto-partage. La start-up veut conquérir la métropole avant de s’attaquer au reste du pays dans deux ans.
Le service d’auto-partage électrique, Totem.mobi, vient de boucler une levée de fonds de près de 400 000 euros auprès de la Banque Populaire Provençale Corse (BPPC) et de Femmes Business Angels. Un troisième investisseur pourrait venir compléter l’opération à la rentrée. Totem.mobi avait déjà réuni 50 000 euros sur la plateforme de crowdfunding Kaalisi en début d’année dernière. Enfin, elle complète son tour de table avec 150 000 euros de prêts obtenus auprès des banques et de Total développement.
Couvrir toute la métropole en 2017
Avec ce soutien financier, l’entreprise marseillaise compte développer sa présence dans la métropole. Elle dispose aujourd’hui de 40 twizys (le biplace électrique de Renault) sur quatre villes. A Marseille, elle vient d’installer de nouvelles stations à Haribo et à l’Établissement Français du Sang (EFS). Le mois dernier, Marignane a accueilli ses cinq premiers véhicules électriques via un réseau en centre-ville ancien et trois stations satellites (plage du Jaï, gare de Pas-des-Lanciers et la Colline).
« Pour l’heure, nous n’avons pas encore réussi à convaincre l’aéroport. Pourtant, la demande est très forte du côté des entreprises », regrette la présidente, Emmanuelle Champaud. Également présente à Aubagne, la start-up va créer cinq stations supplémentaires sur la zone des Paluds. Enfin, si elle espère signer avec Aix-en-Provence et La Ciotat avant la fin de l’année, elle devrait conclure sur la commune de Saint-Victoret.

L’objectif est d’atteindre une trentaine de stations à la fin de l’année prochaine contre vingt aujourd’hui. Sa flotte de twizys doit également être étoffée en conséquence et atteindre les 500 véhicules dans un an et demi. En 2018, Totem.mobi s’attaquera aux grandes villes françaises extérieures à la métropole avec l’ambition de couvrir 32 cités de plus de 100 000 habitants en 2020.
